You know what I can't stand? When a movie is advertised as a romantic comedy but it's NOT! Don't be fooled by Love & Other Drugs. Somewhere after they have pulled you in with all the naked images of Anne Hathaway & Jake Gyllenhaal they take a spiralling journey down a dark whole of sadness! It's not a romantic comedy - don't be fooled!!! SPOILER ALERT**** You learn early on that Anne Hathaway's character is ill - she must learn to deal with the fact that she does need help and it's okay to accept help & Jake's character has this whole self-realization that he leaves the world of pharmaceutical sales to become a doctor. The end is touching as most romantic movies hopefully are but they could have ripped out about 45 minutes of the movie!! Be warned if you and your significant other are looking for a movie to enjoy on a Friday or Saturday night this is not it!
